Eva is a skilled bilingual researcher with strong knowledge in community-based participatory action research and evaluation methodology. Eva has extensive experience developing qualitative and quantitative evaluation and assessment protocols, such as surveys, focus group interview guides, and performance rubrics. Eva has worked locally and abroad in a wide range of issues—from workforce development to high-impact education programs. Eva is fluent in Spanish and intermediate in Korean. She is from Boyle Heights and served on the Land and Use Committee for the Boyle Heights Neighborhood Council. Before joining Promesa Boyle Heights, she was a Research Associate at Harder+Company Community Research and has worked at the Youth Policy Institute and Downtown Women’s Center. Eva also serves as a youth mentor with Thrive Scholars. She has a Master of Arts, International Development focused on Monitoring & Evaluation, from American University.
